HIMALAYACOSMOGRAPHE Sound Navigator creation by Dominique Barthassat permanent Sound Architecture for the « HIMALAYA » hall of the Musée d'Ethnographie de Neuchâtel, Switzerland The four sonic points of the « COSMOGRAPHE », symbolizing the four cardinal points, create the musical spatialization of the Mandala. Akin a plastic hologram, the « COSMOGRAPHE » invites to a musical journey through the different symbols of the Mandala thanks to the 360° score who creates multiple possibilities of meaning and itineraries. The myths evocated through the symbolic of the four musical points carry us away in the calendar's rituals who transform linear time in multimensionnal and sacred time. |
